Protection of personal data

Processing of collected data

Data collected when subscribing to the Flash Info

The information collected (email address) through subscription to the “Flash Info” on the website www.ferdi.fr is used to keep you informed about Ferdi news and updates.

  • Legal basis for processing: consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).
  • Data recipients: only authorised members of Ferdi have access to the data. No data is shared with third parties.
  • Retention period: until you withdraw your consent. You may unsubscribe at any time by sending an email to fabienne.rouanet@ferdi.fr.

Data collected when registering for training courses

The information collected and the files attached when you register for a training course are processed by Ferdi in order to manage registrations and the selection of participants.

  • Legal basis for processing: performance of a contract or legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
  • Data recipients: Ferdi and partners involved in organising the training courses.
  • Retention period: data are kept for the time necessary for the administrative management of the training courses and are not retained when the candidate is not selected.

Applicants’ data

For applicants to the training courses, personal data are retained for the period necessary for the administrative and academic management of the courses and are archived in accordance with the regulations in force governing professional training:

  • Documents relating to the participant’s attendance, marks and assessments: 5 years
  • Diplomas, certificates of achievement and qualifications: unlimited
  • Accounting documents: 10 years from the end of the training course in which the participant took part.

Data collected for Ferdi/IHEDD communications

If you wish to receive information about IHEDD and Ferdi, we collect and store your first name, surname, position, institution, country and email address. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to fabienne.rouanet@ferdi.fr.

Personal information on the website

This website may contain personal information concerning Ferdi staff, its fellows and partners.

We use Matomo, a privacy-friendly audience measurement solution, to analyse traffic and improve the user experience on our website. Matomo is configured in compliance with the GDPR, with IP addresses anonymised and no transfer of data to third parties. This solution therefore does not require explicit consent.
